Eye Exams

A comprehensive eye exam includes a number of tests and procedures to examine and evaluate the health of your eyes and the quality of your vision.

These tests range from simple ones, like having you read an eye chart, to complex tests, such as using a high-powered lens to examine the health of the tissues inside of your eyes. In addition to determining your most up-to-date eyeglass prescription, our comprehensive eye exam includes tests for glaucoma, cataracts and macular degeneration. We also screen for the ocular effects of many general health disorders such as diabetes and high blood pressure as well as the effects of certain medications. We incorporate computerized technology to assist in the evaluation of eyeglass prescriptions, peripheral vision (side vision) testing, eye-pressure testing and eye health evaluation.
